History of the Bank

 
Paritetbank, OJSC, is one of the oldest banks. It was registered on May 15, 1991, under the name of Poisk Commercial Bank, and was renamed into Paritetbank, OJSC, in 2004.

In 1994, the Bank was the first in Belarus to become a member of SWIFT Alliance; in 2005 joined the Reuters system, and in 2006 started emitting Visa cards; in 2010, the Bank become a full member of this payment system.   

In January 2010, the Bank entered the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe/BACEE as a regular member.

The Bank actively developed its cooperation with international financial and credit institutions and, in August 2011, it acquired a syndicated loan organized by the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB, Kazakhstan). In 2014, the Bank acquired a syndicated loan from Asian-Pacific Bank. On November 3, 2015, Paritetbank, OJSC, and AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH, signed a Basic Agreement for Export Loans.

The Bank is a financial institution recognized by the participants of the banking community, international partners, experts and consumers of financial services. In 2015, Paritetbank, OJSC, was awarded a diploma for the highest growth rate of cashless payments using Visa Business cards among the banks of the Republic of Belarus. In 2016, the Bank's Contact Centre was Top-1 in the Polite Banks national competition held by the Associations of Belarusian Banks. Paritetbank, OJSC, won the first prize in National Rating - 2016 from Infobank.by, and was Top-1 among the Belarusian banks for its customer service level in 2016 as part of the competition arranged by Banki.ru, Top-3 in Best ATM - 2016 from Infobank.by, and Top-2 in The Most Successful Creditor of Belarus - 2016 from Myfin.by.

In 2018, Paritetbank was Top-3 bank in the Financial and Banking Elite of Eurasia, national public award, surpassing most participants from 25 countries. The Bank's team was awarded for successful implementation of a project on a new brand advanced office. Belarus was represented in this nomination for the first time ever. According to the Bank's operation results in 2018, the Bank was one of the Top-3 participants of the securities market with a fixed revenue in the Republic of Belarus, and got a honorary award - Champions League Award Nominee 2019 - from the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS).

In 2019, the Bank was winner in two nominations of HR Brand 2019 award. In the final competition on December 5, the Bank introduced its project: Lean - Engine of Progress. This program helped to increase efficiency and loyalty of employees, reduce paper workflow and improve banking business processes in two nominations: Republic and Talent Management.

In 2021, the Bank won the second prize in Mobile Application for Legal Entities as part of Bank of the Year annual award. In 2022, the Bank was Top-3 in the Best Among Average Banks..

Currently, Paritetbank provides a wide range of financial services to physical entities and organizations. The Bank is actively developing and renders services to its clients in 26 branches across Belarus. The focus for the nearest future is to create up-to-date simple solutions for people and business. The Bank's mission is to give people equal opportunities of being successful.
